Rules for Buying 50/50 Tickets

• Ticket sales will start on March 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM for Draw #1 and July 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM for Draw #2.

• Players must be 18 years of age or older, be physically in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase, and use cash, a major credit card, Visa Debit card or MasterCard Debit card.  Location Services on your device must be turned on to verify your location, per AGCO regulations.

• Lottery ticket purchases are not eligible for a charitable donation tax receipt.

• Habitat for Humanity KLR board members, staff, and volunteers are eligible to purchase tickets unless they are directly involved in managing the draw (e.g., raffle administrators, event organizers, financial reconciliation volunteers, or those managing the electronic raffle system).

• By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser agrees to allow Habitat for Humanity KLR to use purchaser’s name and image without compensation, for any promotional activity related to this or any future raffle.

• Ticket Sales ends on June 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM for Draw #1 and Dec 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM for Draw #2.

50/50 Gaming Tickets Available

The Habitat for Humanity KLR 50/50 tickets will be sold as described herein for each draw period covered by the gaming event licence.

Ticket Prices:

• A – 1 Tickets for $10.00

• B – 5 Tickets for $25.00

• C – 50 Tickets for $50.00

• D - 200 Tickets for $100.00

Prize Details

• The prize amount for each draw is 50% of total ticket sales for that draw period.

• The remaining 50% goes to Habitat for Humanity KLR.

• Tickets are sold using the Rafflebox electronic raffle system.

• Buyers will receive a confirmation email receipt with randomly generated ticket numbers.

Draw Dates & Locations

• Draw #1 July 31, 2026 @ 2:00 PM

• Draw #2 Dec 15, 2026 @ 2:00 PM

• Location for the Draws: 607 Gardiners Road Kingston, ON K7M3Y4

• The winner will be determined by a random draw using a registered Electronic Raffle Supplier (ERS) Random Number Generator (RNG).

Winner Notification

• Winning ticket numbers will be posted within 24–48 hours at: www.habitatkingston.com

• Winners will be contacted by phone by a representative of Habitat for Humanity KLR.

• Winners must provide photo ID and consent to the release of their name, address, and phone number for reporting purposes.

• If a minor’s name is on the winning ticket, the prize will be awarded to their legal guardian or trustee.

• Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold.

Prize Claiming

• The winner may claim their prize by contacting Habitat for Humanity KLR via email at communityengagement@habitatkingston.com. The winner will also be contacted by phone by Habitat for Humanity KLR. The 50/50 winner will be paid by cheque for the amount posted on the lottery website.

Unclaimed Prizes

• Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner via phone, email, or registered mail.

• Public notices may be posted on the Habitat KLR website, local radio stations, and local newspapers.

• The 50/50 winning ticket holder has six months to claim their raffle winnings from the final date of the draw.

Privacy

• By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser agrees to allow Habitat for Humanity KLR to collect purchaser’s email address. Habitat for Humanity KLR does not sell, rent, or exchange personal information collected from these draws with any other organization or entity.
