The Kingston ReStore is looking for candidates for 2 positions this summer. Applicants must be aged 16-30 and either just finishing school or returning in the fall to qualify.
📍 Location: 607 Gardiners Rd, Kingston, Ontario
📅 Start Date: June or July 2026
Provide friendly, helpful customer service at the cash, on the sales floor, and in the donation area
Assist with pricing, stocking, merchandising, and general store organization
Receive, inspect, and process donations for quality, safety, and resale suitability
Load and unload donations and customer purchases
Clean and test items, remove donor labels/UPCs, and prepare items for the sales floor
Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient work environment
Support volunteers and contribute to a positive team culture
Follow health and safety procedures and report hazards or incidents
Retail, warehouse, or customer service experience is an asset
A driver's license is an asset
Experience in sales is an asset
Experience with social media marketing is an asset
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
Comfortable with physical tasks and fast-paced environments
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Interest in reuse, sustainability, and community building
Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends
CSA-approved safety footwear (required)

Habitat for Humanity Kingston Limestone Region is looking for candidates for an 8-week administrative assistant position. Applicants must be aged 16-30 and either just finishing school or returning in the fall to qualify.
📍 Location: 607 Gardiners Rd, Kingston, Ontario

Demonstrates knowledge of Habitat for Humanity Kingston Limestone Region’s mission, vision, and values
Assist the affiliate office in answering phone calls and emails, directing them appropriately as needed
Contribute meaningfully to the planning process of annual fundraising events such as the Build Banquet
Develop and schedule social media posts to publish across Habitat channels: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Enter and track volunteer hours in Better Impact, Habitat’s Volunteer Management System
Contribute to bingo and build day events to support ongoing fundraising throughout the year
Complete other duties as assigned by the affiliate office staff
Excellent relationship-building skills – responsible, reliable, friendly, outgoing, and personable
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organization and time management skills
Analytical and problem-solving
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with confidential documents
Strong sense of initiative
