🛠️ ReStore Retail Associate

Part-time | 6 Positions Available | Napanee, ON

Help us open the doors to our newest ReStore! As a ReStore Associate, you’ll support customers, process donations, and keep our store running smoothly — all while contributing to Habitat’s mission of building safe, affordable homes.

📍 Location: Napanee, Ontario
📅 Start Date: Early 2026 (training in Kingston may be required before opening)

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, helpful customer service at the cash, on the sales floor, and in the donation area
  
  

• Assist with pricing, stocking, merchandising, and general store organization
  
  

• Receive, inspect, and process donations for quality, safety, and resale suitability
  
  

• Load and unload donations and customer purchases
  
  

• Clean and test items, remove donor labels/UPCs, and prepare items for the sales floor
  
  

• Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient work environment
  
  

• Support volunteers and contribute to a positive team culture
  
  

• Follow health and safety procedures and report hazards or incidents
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Retail, warehouse, or customer service experience (an asset but not required)

• Full G License is an asset
  
  

• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
  
  

• Comfortable with physical tasks and fast-paced environments
  
  

• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
  
  

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  
  

• Interest in reuse, sustainability, and community building
  
  

• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends
  
  

• CSA-approved safety footwear (required)
