Three years ago, after a short courtship of two souls melding as
one, Sara and Ryan joined hands in marriage. They both face
challenges, but they choose to focus on their abilities, rather than
letting their disabilities hold them back. They combine their
strengths to face the world with love and joy and to tackle any
hurdles that stand in their way.
Sara is nearing completion of her secondary education and plans
to study science at university and to work in the science field.
Ryan, who has attended university, acts as an advocate for persons
with disabilities, and is currently writing a book on the subject.
Sara and Ryan feel very strongly about the importance of family, and
hope to have children in the near future.

By partnering with Habitat for Humanity, the Taylor-McHattie
family will own their very own affordable wheelchair-accessible
home—a dream that may never have come true otherwise. To the people
who gave their money, time and effort to build their home, Sara
would like to say
“Thank you! We really appreciate and treasure your labours! Our life is changing forever because of you.” |
