LIMITATIONS
Do you have any medical information and / or physical limitation which you feel may affect your ability to perform as a volunteer? (e.g.
hearing, vision, severe allergies, fear of heights, or other challenges) This information will assist us in identifying an appropriate volunteer position for you.
SAFETY GEAR
Certified green-tagged steel-toed footwear, safety
glasses and hard hats are MANDATORY on the Build 2008 site. In many
cases heavy duty gloves will come in handy. Habitat Kingston has a fairly good
selection of safety gear to loan to volunteers for the day, but cannot guarantee a perfect
fit every time. Please bring your own safety gear if you have it.
All Habitat for Humanity
volunteers must sign a
Release and Waiver Liability Form before commencing work.
This form will be given to you when you arrive for your first
scheduled shift.

At the same time, your availability and the needs of the project will influence where and when volunteers are placed. We cannot guarantee the work that you will be assigned. The final decision about your placement rests with the HFH build site supervisor.
