2006 Contest

This was the second time that
Habitat Kingston has won the contest!!

The 2006 winnings are building a house this summer for the Taylor Family. Winning the 2007 can drive ensures that Habitat Kingston will build a Habitat home in 2008. Habitat Kingston has never before built homes 2 years in a row! Your support is helping us to build more homes more often!!! Your support is helping more local families in need.

PLEASE KEEP BRINGING US YOUR CANS !!

Our goal for 2008 is 1,000,000!!!

 IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD
OR WORKPLACE, OR SCHOOL

Fill in your
- Name
- Drop-off location
- Contact phone

Then
- Hand the brochure to neighbors,
  co-workers, schoolmates or
- Pin it to a local bulletin board

Collect cans in large, clear plastic bags and drop them off at the Re-Store [MAP] .  If you would like a box to support the collection bags, please drop by the ReStore.

THE CHEQUE

Bruce and Sandy picked up the gargantuan cheque from Bryan Tucker of Alcan while attending the Habitat Canada Annual General Meeting in PEI in May

The cheque was SO big, it took three men and a truck to take it to the bank!

We still don't know how they got it in the ATM!!
